Mounting Instructions
- Line up Fin
- Clamp two Vise Grips on tightly (See image)
- Drill out side holes with 15/64 drill bit
- Put stainless steel screws in outer holes snugly
- Remove Vise Grips
- Drill center holes
- Insert center screws snugly
- Tighten down all fasteners
- Your new Cobra Jet Steering system in now installed!

I have one on my SeaDoo Fish Pro Trophy and another on my SeaDoo GTX 230. They both track straighter, steer better, are way more stable in turns at speed (even full speed!), and dock easier. Hands down the most cost effective performance upgrade you can make to your SeaDoo!

At first wasn’t sure how this was gonna affect my 23 RXPX 300 with the stage three kit on it so I gave it a try and holy smokes. I’m glad I did. I thought this thing handled good stock but with this on there, it’s a big game changer 10 out of 10 would recommend.

I have two 2025 Seadoo GTX 170’s. I installed the Cobra Jet fins on both of them and took them to Laughlin NV to test in Lake Mohave and on the Colorado River. They worked terrific. Turns felt much more stable. I could turn at higher speeds without fear of getting tossed off the jet skis or the rear end flying out from under me. Everything was much more controlled. What is advertised about the jet ski turning when the thurst is off is also true. I killed the power at around 15 MPH and the ski turned to the right without any issues. I know that I’ll have people on the ski that will try to turn the ski without thrust so this safety feature is very important to me. If I get more skis, I’d buy them again in a heartbeat! Great product!
